Golf Homes for Sale

Millions of baby boomers play golf, and as they move into their retirement years, they dream of a lifestyle that includes a few days of golf each week and all the other leisure time activities they have been deferring through their working years. With a current over-inventory of golf course homes nationwide, and with prices at their lowest in a decade, baby boomers looking for their dream retirement lifestyle, and working people looking for a vacation golf retreat, have an incredibly wide range of golf homes to choose among.

Paradise Lost...and Found

Information on the World Wide Web can be mesmerizingly confusing, with everything from golf condos to golf homes of estate sizes and a wide range of choices in between. From a distance, each golf community seems like paradise and descriptions of their golf courses make them seem like Augusta National; glossy testimonials tout how wonderful life is inside the gates of every golf community.

A Seal of Approval You Can Trust

But no golf community measures up to paradise, although some are much closer than others. For six years, as part of our work at Golf Community
visit-and-recommendReviews, the only objective blog site dedicated to golf commu-
nities, we have visited more
than 150 golf developments
and researched and written
about dozens more. We have interviewed  real estate officials, residents, club members and golf professionals, played their golf courses and inspected their real estate. And we’ve asked the tough questions about fees, dues, and financial stability –- in short, everything you would want to know when considering a six-figure or greater investment. We know what questions to ask and what answers to consider credible.

We Work Only with Golf Community Pros

 We have also established solid working relationships with scores of highly qualified real estate professionals inside and outside the golf communities. These experts understand the ins and outs of golf community living and can explain even the subtlest differences among the communities in their area.

That is why we are pleased to expand our services to include listings of golf homes for sale in the finest golf communities. At GolfHomesListed, each page of properties for sale includes a map indicating the community's location; details about the golf course and the real estate options; an overview of the community (or if we haven't visited it, the opinions of realtors we know and trust);

and a listing of current properties for sale inside the gates. We note those golf communities we have personally visited and to which we have given our "Visited & Recommend" seal of approval. In the future, we will accept listings for communities we have not visited only after research confirms their high quality.

How our new listing service works for you

You browse the listings, and if you see a home or property for sale for which you would like more information, you click on it. We ask you for your name and email address, which is shared only with the real estate professional responsible for the listing; we protect your privacy and never share your personal information without your explicit permission. Then you are connected immediately to the broker's web site and complete details on the property. From there, you can either do nothing, contact the realtor for additional information, schedule a visit to the community or ask any other questions about the golf community or the general area.

There is no charge for using this listing service, and we only work with realtors who will not charge you any fee for representing you if you choose to pursue a purchase. You are never under any obligation whatsoever. In order to make this service as valuable to you as possible, please contact us with your suggestions about enhancing the site.
