Pawleys Island area
The towns of Pawleys Island, Murrells Inlet and Litchfield Beach present a more laid-back environment than the brightly lit Myrtle Beach, just to the north. But golf on the South end of the Grand Strand is as exciting and high-quality as any in the area, with perennial favorites Caledonia, Pawleys Plantation, True Blue and Founders Club three miles from each other. DeBordieu Colony, The Reserve and Wachesaw Plantation offer the only private club experiences of the 100+ golf courses along the Grand Strand. You will be surprised at the many restaurants between Georgetown and Murrells Inlet, many that focus largely on the bounties of the nearby ocean.
